Microwave Ovens

Microwave ovens use a magnetic field to vibrate water particles inside food. When this happens, the particles absorb energy from the magnetic field and in doing so heat the food. This results in faster, cheaper cooking. However, unless some thought is put into using a microwave oven, not all food is ideal for cooking this way. For instance, models without a grill can produce unappetising results if not used properly.
You will need to think about your needs when choosing a microwave oven. The main buying criteria are the capacity of the oven (as this determines how much food it can cook at one time), the wattage (as this determines the speed at which the food will be cooked) and then any additional features which would be useful for the type of lifestyle you lead or the cooking you will be doing.
